George Washington is one of the most influential men in U.S. history. He led America to victory in the Revolutionary War. And, as the first President, he guided America through its early years.

Much of Washington’s later life was passed at Mount Vernon. This estate has become a monument to his life. If you ever have a chance to visit, I highly recommend you do.
